RSL: Product specific training reminders

Reliance Standard recently received several applications along with appointment requests in states that currently require producers to complete product specific training prior to soliciting annuity business. While many states allow applications to be dated and submitted concurrently with an agent's licensing appointment paperwork, product specific training must be completed prior to the solicitation of any business.

If the product specific training is not completed prior to the date of the application, Reliance Standard will return applications dated prior to the training completion date back to the producer or agency.

All new producers can complete Reliance Standard's online product specific training module in less than a 1/2 hour. It is a short and simple process and will help to make sure that producers are in compliance with all regulations.

Below you will find instructions on how to complete the product specific training module and a listing of the states that currently require product specific training.

Reliance Standard - Product Specific Training

Reliance Standard provides web based product-specific training for producers to comply with the product-specific training requirement of the regulation.

Producers may access and complete Reliance Standard's web based Product Specific Training Module by visiting http://rsli.successce.com and reviewing the training materials covering both fixed and indexed products and then completing the course by clicking on the "Annuity Training Certification" at the end of the materials.

Reliance Standard can immediately verify completion of the course.
